Grand Master Chong Lee, 9 th Degree Black Belt since 1994, has been practicing the art of Tae Kwon Do for over 56 years. He has completed his NCCP level IV and is working on level V.
Tae Kwon Do, The Korean art of self-defense was first introduced in Canada in 1964, under the direction of Master Chong Lee. Over the last several decades he has become recognized for his continually evolving and cutting edge training style that produces Champions all over the world. He is always inventing new styles and techniques by continuous learning of the body’s biomechanics and nutritional needs and subtleties of the movements of the art. Many of his students have become Masters and have established lineages of Masters in their own right and all are benefiting by his world class supervision, advice and training at their perspective schools worldwide. Grandmaster Chong Lee has trained and supervised over 300,000 students and climbing over the past 40 years.
His students have earned more than 200 gold medals in the Canadian National Championships, 15 gold medals in the Pan Am Tae Kwon Do Championships and Pan Am Games and 4 gold medals and 5 silver medals in the World Tae Kwon Do Championships.
Grand Master Lee has been selected as Canadian National Coach for 30 consecutive years.

Grandmaster Chong Soo Lee has been Master Gerard Bonaparte’s Grandmaster since 1989. As a result, Master Bonaparte follows the Olympic style training methods of Grandmaster Lee whose school of Tae Kwon Do is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Master Bonaparte’s school, Bonaparte’s Millennium Martial Arts is located in Boca Raton, Florida. The two schools have formed an affiliation and Grand Master Lee will be traveling to Florida periodically to oversee and certify training and testing at the Boca Raton school. Grand Master Lee will also offer special seminars for students of all belt levels and ages.
